ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR APRIL 6, 2025
Candy Mustamaa will be purchasing our Easter plants from Wagner’s Flower Shop this year. Available are Lilies ($14.95), Tulips, Hyacinths, & Daffodils (all at $13.95). Orders are due by Friday, April 11th. Please see Candy to order.
Our remaining 2025 Bascom Ecumenical Lenten Worship will be as follows:
- Maundy (Holy) Thursday (April 17th) at 7:00 p.m. with a Tenebrae and hand washing service at St. John’s UCC.
- Good Friday (April 18th) at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Bob providing the message at Bascom Community Church.
- Please remember that our Lenten Ecumenical Services provide the primary funding for our Ecumenical Vacation Bible School, and we ask that you generously and lavishly support during these worship services. Please see the Narthex bulletin board or our website (bascomchurch.com) for additional information.
Our next Administrative Board meeting will be Tuesday, April 8th at 6:00 pm.
Please mark your calendars for this year’s Ecumenical Vacation Bible School, which will be June 9th-13th from 9:30 am-noon. Our theme this year is “Rocky Railway: Jesus’ Power Pulls Us Through.”
We are collecting some items that will be used by our VBS decorating team. They are as follows and can be dropped off in the office:
Toilet paper tubes 80-100
15-20 liter bottles
Christmas trees the weekend of decorating (June 7-8th)
