ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR JUNE 29, 2025

Our church will be making sloppy joe and chicken sandwiches for the Firefighter Festival on July 12th. We will need both food preparation workers and servers. Please see the bulletin board for a sign-up sheet. Also, if you are interested in working a shift at the festival as we started doing last year, please see Marcia Abbott.

Shelby Lopez & Morgan Johnson will be bringing back our Spaghetti Dinner later this year. They are looking for a locally focused based outreach to donate the profits to. Please let them know if you have any insight on who we can bless with these funds.

It’s time to roll out the Bascom Community Calendar Project for 2025. If you have been a route worker and are willing & able to help again this year, packets can be picked up in the narthex. Questions??? Please see Ron Lutz.

Ann Zimmerman will be joining a Walking for Alzheimer’s Fundraiser in Findlay this coming September. She is doing this to honor her mom, Sandy Lehner, who currently is an Alzheimer’s patient and in memory of her grandmother & mother-in-law who both passed away from complications of this disease. Please see Ann if you wish to support her.

Our next Men’s Breakfast will be July 12th at the American Table in Fostoria.

Our church grounds landscaping project was postponed due to the rain, and it will be rescheduled after this wave of extreme heat is over.

JOYS: Dottie Devault is continuing to heal from her cellulitis and will be having an appointment with her doctor to determine if any additional treatment is required; Joe Stacy has retired from Tiffin University and is loving it … however he still needs prayers for his ongoing battle with prostate cancer; and we have a Heavenly Father who loves us, a Savior who redeems us, and the Holy Spirit who strengthens us.

CONCERNS:  Judy Prosser is scheduled for a consultation on Tuesday, July 1st, regarding her hip & back pain; Tim Heiserman is scheduled to meet with his surgeon on Monday, June 30, to discuss ongoing issues with his latest knee replacement; Joe & Helen Emerines neighbor Marilyn Abell fell and fractured her ribs and deflating a lung; Lori Zimmerman is scheduled to meet with a nephrologist to discuss ongoing issues with her kidney; Terry Prosser (Mike’s brother) is home recuperating after a recent heart attack; Janet Main’s great nephew Memphis has been hospitalized after stopping breathing; Terry Vitt was transferred to Independence House (Room 212) last week where he is undergoing physical therapy; Craig Knupp will be undergoing an eye examination on July 11th to determine the best treatment plan for a cataract on his left eye he had a gas bubble placed in last year; and please continue to pray for Helen Joe’s niece & nephew (Adrienne & Tyler) as they await the birth of their daughter Eleanor who has been diagnosed with Turner’s Syndrome.
