Today’s altar flowers are in celebration of Margaret Cumbow’s 91st birthday and sponsored by her great-granddaughter Mila Lopez.
Luella King’s 100th birthday is today. She received 44 cards as of Saturday evening and says “Thank you to her church family for their cards.” She loved them!!
Please see the narthex bulletin board for the flyer about an outreach opportunity to support residents of Good Shepherd with Christmas gifts. They have requested that any donations be dropped off by this coming Saturday, December 6th.
Advent begins today. Please see the Candlelight Readers signup sheet on the Narthex bulletin board for openings.
Our next Men’s Breakfast will be this coming Saturday, December 6th, at the Deli at Frost Village.
A hearty “Thank You” to Deb Lutz, Ed Smith, and Jeanne VanBuskirk for your three years of service on our Administrative Council Board. Helen Emerine will be rejoining the board starting in 2026, so we need one more volunteer to join the board. Please see any council member (Marcia Abbott, Morgan Johnson, Bob Manz, and Shelby Lopez are remaining on the board), Lori Clay, or Pastor Dean if interested in joining.
We continue our tradition of supporting a family for Christmas this year. Our family this year has three children under the age of six. Gift ideas have been placed on the Christmas tree in the Narthex. Please note that if you would prefer to donate cash, Danene will be accepting it and putting it toward purchasing the gifts.
We will be having our Christmas Eve worship service this year at 4:00 p.m.
Our next Administrative Council Meeting will be next Tuesday, December 9th, at 6:00 pm.
December-January newsletters are available online and on the back table outside the sanctuary.
The church will be making Super Bowl Subs on Saturday, February 6th. Orders will be taken in January. Questions?? Please see Ron Lutz or call him at (419) 448-8675.
Our Sunday School Class will be led by Pastor Dean in December as we dive into the season with “Advent” by J. D. Greear (available on RightNow Media). In this study we will be taking a deeper look at Jesus as Emmanuel; our Wonderful Counselor; the Everlasting Father; and the great I Am.

Luella King’s 100th birthday is next Sunday, November 30th. Her family would love for her to receive 100 cards so be sure to get yours in the mail soon. Address (also on the narthex bulletin board): 4240 W. Co. Rd. 48, Tiffin, Ohio 44883.
Thank you to everyone who participated in Operation Christmas Child. We collected and delivered 13 boxes this year!

Our annual Hanging of the Greens (decorating the church building for Advent) will be today after our Worship Service.
Our Ecumenical Thanksgiving Worship Service will be held this evening at 7:00 p.m. at Hopewell Church of God with Pastor Dean providing the message.

JOYS: Helen Emerine is only a couple of days away from retirement; we were able to gift the family of Connor Whaley with $1,627.42 from the Spaghetti Dinner (thank you to all who made this possible!!!); Rev. David Culp received his call to his eternal home this past Thursday (arrangements are pending at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home); time with friends and family while celebrating Thanksgiving; and we have a Heavenly Father who loves us, a Savior who redeems us, and the Holy Spirit who strengthens us.
CONCERNS: June Coppus will be moving to Sydney, Ohio as she begins a new position at work tomorrow (December 1st); travel mercies for all those on the road and in the air today; Chad Spangler and his family who are all sick this morning; those affected by yesterday’s mass shooting at a family gathering in Stockton, California that killed 4 and wounded another 10; Don Asselin will be undergoing a lung scan on December 14th; and Judy Prosser was diagnosed with damage to her neck & spine with an MRI on her pelvic area to be scheduled.
