ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR NOVEMBER 16, 2025

Luella King turns a spry 100 years on November 30th. Her family would love for her to receive 100 cards so let’s get them bought and ready to send! Address: 4240 W. Co. Rd. 48, Tiffin, Ohio 44883.

“Thank You” to everyone who made last night’s Spaghetti Dinner to benefit Connor Whaley a success!!!

The family of Cindy Miller will be having a graveside service for her at 2:30 this afternoon at Sandridge Cemetery here in Bascom. All are invited to join them and pay their respects.

Please see the narthex bulletin board for the flyer about an outreach opportunity to support residents of Good Shepherd with Christmas gifts.

Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes are due back to church today. There are crosses and Little Jesus figurines to put in your box before you turn it in. Completed boxes can be placed in the office.

Our annual Hanging of the Greens (decorating the church building for Advent) will be next Sunday, November 23rd, after our Worship Service.

Our Ecumenical Thanksgiving Worship Service will be next Sunday, November 23rd, at 7:00 p.m. at Hopewell Church of God with Pastor Dean providing the message.

Our next Men’s Breakfast will be Saturday, December 6th, at the Deli at Frost Village.

Advent begins two weeks from today on November 30th. Please see the Candlelight Readers signup sheet on the Narthex bulletin board.

ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR NOVEMBER 9, 2025

Our Spaghetti Supper will be held on Saturday, November 15th from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Proceeds to be donated to support Connor Whaley and his family in his ongoing battle against childhood leukemia. Please see the sign-up sheet on the bulletin board regarding this event. Monetary donations can be given to Morgan Johnson, Shelby Lopez, or Helen Emerine. Carry out will be available as well as dine in. A brochure regarding the event is posted on the bulletin board.

We are looking for individuals to join the rotation for children’s church during the worship service on Sunday mornings. Heather Kreh has been providing this ministry every Sunday for the past several years.

We will have a Love Offering next Sunday November 16th for Kyle Kreh and his family if the government shutdown isn’t resolved by that date. Kyle serves in the military and is the son of Bruce and Heather Kreh.

We will be celebrating our All-Saints Worship Service today as well as Communion Sunday. As is our tradition, we will recognize not only those who have been called to their eternal home in the past twelve months, but all those that you wish to be remembered.

Thank you at all that donated candy and other treats for Trick or Trunk this past Tuesday. Our count had over 400 children participate.

Prayer List – updated November 16, 2025

JOYS: Sutton Linn Price (Janet Main’s great-granddaughter) is eating and sleeping much better after her mom and dad (Kylee & Grant) changed her feeding program; Memphis Depinet (Pam & Steve Depinet’s great-grandson) has not had any episodes with not breathing during sleep recently (they continue to monitor his breathing); Bruce Kreh’s friend Steve Long underwent a successful triple bypass this past Wednesday and is home recuperating; Trinity Emahiser (Bruce & Heather Kreh’s granddaughter) was on the Arcadia Honor Roll this past quarter (this is the first time she has achieved this in years); Don Ferguson continues to heal from his hernia operation and the two follow-up procedures; Judy Prosser’s nephrologist informed her that her kidney function had increased by 20%;  and we have a Heavenly Father who loves us, a Savior who redeems us, and the Holy Spirit who strengthens us.

CONCERNS: Heather & Bruce Kreh’s granddaughter Madi’s (Heater) juvenile rheumatoid arthritis has become active and she is undergoing a two-year treatment plan; Georger & Sharon Miller’s niece Autumn Kerr is home and is scheduled to return to the cancer treatment center in Texas tomorrow where she will begin a series of 6 radiation treatments for metastasized breast cancer; Don Asselin has a consultation scheduled for November 20th to review the results from his heart monitoring this past week (Don also will be having a lung scan performed on December 14th); the family of Pastor Joe Reidling from King’s Church in Arcadia who passed away November 10th; and the family of Gilles Joseph Frankart (Hopewell Loudon graduate) who passed away November 6th; Judy Prosser was diagnosed with damage to her neck & spine with an MRI on her pelvic area to be scheduled; and Mila Lopez’s friend Willow will be having biopsy on a growth on her neck.
