ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR NOVEMBER 2, 2025

We will be celebrating our All-Saints Worship Service today as well as Communion Sunday. As is our tradition, we will recognize not only those who have been called to their eternal home in the past twelve months, but all those that you wish to be remembered.

Our Spaghetti Supper will be held on Saturday, November 15th from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Proceeds to be donated to support Connor Whaley and his family in his ongoing battle against childhood leukemia. Please see the sign-up sheet on the bulletin board regarding this event. Monetary donations can be given to Morgan Johnson, Shelby Lopez, or Helen Emerine. Carry out will be available as well as dine in. A brochure regarding the event is posted on the bulletin board.

Thank you at all that donated candy and other treats for Trick or Trunk this past Tuesday. Our count had over 400 children participate.

Please also see the narthex bulletin board for the flyer about an outreach opportunity to support residents of Good Shepherd with Christmas gifts.

Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes can still be picked up in the narthex. If you would like to fill a shoebox, please have them back to the church by Sunday, November 16th. The label to place on the outside of the box upon return is inside each box. If you have any questions, you may contact Lori Clay at (419) 937-8111.

Our Ecumenical Thanksgiving Worship Service will be held Sunday, November 23rd at 7:00 p.m. at Hopewell Church of God with Pastor Dean providing the message.

Our next Men’s Breakfast will be Saturday, December 7th, at The Deli at Frost Village.

JOYS: Sutton Linn Price’s health has improved to the point that she was able to join her big brother Callahan for Trick or Treat here at Bascom this past Tuesday; Dotty Devault is doing much better as her cellulitis appears to be in recovery stage at this time; Don Ferguson continues to recover from his hernia surgery and two follow-up procedures; and we have a Heavenly Father who loves us, a Savior who redeems us, and the Holy Spirit who strengthens us.

CONCERNS: Juanita Yambert will be undergoing testing at Cleveland Clinic beginning this Wednesday (November 5th) in order to determine the cause and treatment plan for her issues with oxygen being provided to the brain during sleep; Betty Park had a CT scan on Wednesday that was negative for any issues with her abdomen but she has been diagnosed with an UTI and currently is experiencing laryngitis as swell as pain in her neck; Janelle who had a brain tumor removed this past Wednesday at Ohio State Hospital and was able to return home yesterday (5 to 6 weeks recovery); and the family of Nancy Monasmith who passed away on October 25th.
