The next Men’s Breakfast will gather at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 1st at The American Table in Fostoria.

Please see the flyer posted on the narthex bulletin board for an outreach opportunity to support residents of Good Shepherd with Christmas gifts.

Trunk or Treat returns on Tuesday, October 28th from 6:00 to 7:00 pm. Usually Bascom has over 300 kiddos participate, so candy donations are much appreciated.

Our Spaghetti Supper will be held on Saturday, November 15^th from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Proceeds to be donated to support Connor Whaley and his family in his ongoing battle against childhood leukemia.

Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes can be picked up in the narthex. If you would like to fill a shoebox, please have them back to the church by Sunday, November 16th. The label to place on the outside of the box upon return is inside each box. If you have any questions, you may contact Lori Clay at (419)937-8111.

Please join Pastor Dean and the men of the church at The American Table in Fostoria @ 9:00 a.m.

JOYS: Tim Heiserman was not injured this past Monday when he was rear ended in an automobile accident;  Jenny Ratchen’s knee scope went well Monday; and we have a Heavenly Father who loves us, a Savior who redeems us, and the Holy Spirit who strengthens us.

CONCERNS: Don Ferguson had his third surgery in a month due to his hernia this past Tuesday (infection) and came home to recuperate on Friday;  Judy Prosser is currently undergoing therapy twice a week (for 4 weeks) to restore range of motion to her neck as well as electrical stimulation on her leg daily through at least October 20th; Juanita Yambert will be undergoing testing at Cleveland Clinic beginning on November 5th in order to determine the cause and treatment plan for her issues with air flow to the brain during sleep; and Don Asselin’s friend Zeda Jean Craig has been released from the hospital after two months and currently in assisted living.
