ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR SEPTEMBER 6, 2026

On September 13th, April Ramsey-Bertz will be providing our worship music and speaking to the Emmaus Walk experience.

Our next Men’s Breakfast will be September 12th (the 5th is Labor Day weekend) at Billy’s Restaurant in Fremont.

Please see the signup sheet on the Narthex bulletin board for our lawn maintenance schedule.

We have recently become aware that we may not have a complete list of birthdays and anniversaries of our regular attenders. In an attempt to create a church-wide list of everyone’s birthdays to be used in the weekly bulletins, we’ve created cards for you to pick up at the entrance to the sanctuary. Please write the names and as well as the month and year of these important dates for yourself and your immediate family members. Please place the completed cards in the offering “church.” Thank you!

Our church is required to replace two members on the administrative board at the beginning of 2027. This does not require a particular skillset but merely a devotion of some time and is an excellent way to serve your church. Everyone who attends is considered a member of our local congregation. If you have any questions or are interested in serving in this capacity, please let Pastor Dean or a current member of the board know. Current members are Bob Manz, Morgan Johnson, Shelby Lopez, Helen Emerine, Carol Reisner or Marcia Abbott.

JOYS:  Adilayah (Adi) Davis’s procedures went well this past Wednesday and she is home; Randall Shaver is scheduled for his last two radiation treatments this coming week as he continues chemotherapy and hydration treatments; Seth Lonsway (Greg & Barb Lonsway’s grandson) was called up to the San Francisco Giants & pitched two innings on Saturday, August 29; and we have a Heavenly Father that loves us, a Savior that redeems us, and the Holy Spirit that strengthens us.

CONCERNS: Tim Heiserman’s revision (second) right hip replacement will be this coming Thursday, September 3rd, in New Albany; our brothers & sisters-in-Christ at Hopewell Church of God who are searching for a new pastor as Reverend Bob Greene has informed them that he will be retiring; Ed Smith’s latest hearing aids did not provide any improvement so he has scheduled a three-hour test in Perrysburg for possible cochlear implants on September 10th; Pam Dunson is scheduled for cataract replacement surgeries on September 14th & 21st and is currently working with her medical team due to high blood pressure that may be related to her mass cell activation; and Andra Workley (Nikki Vitt’s friend) has been diagnosed with blood clots in her legs & lungs.
