ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR SEPTEMBER 20, 2026

Carolyn Thallman (419-618-8911) is seeking prayer warriors to join her in praying at local schools through the Keep Watch movement. Their goal is to see every school covered in prayer so that the power and presence of God are experienced in our communities. Volunteers will need to complete on-line training as well as submitting to a background check. Please scan the QR code on the narthex bulletin board or go to https://keepwatchprayer.org/ for additional information.

Our next Men’s Breakfast will be Saturday, October 3rd, at GW’s Fine Foods in Tiffin.

The Fall 2026 Fostoria-Bascom Prolife Newsletter has been placed on the narthex bulletin board.

We continue to attempt to create a church-wide list of everyone’s birthdays that are not on the Community Calendar to be used in the weekly bulletins. If you have not already done so, please fill out one of the cards at the entrance to the sanctuary. Please write the names and as well as the month and year of these important dates for yourself and your immediate family members. Please place the completed cards in the offering “church.” Thank you!

The next administrative board meeting will be held Tuesday, October 13th at 6:00 p.m.

Please join Pastor Dean and the men of the church, for breakfast at GW’s Fine Food in Tiffin for our October get together.

JOYS: Sue Hedrick shared that her grandson Dominic and his wife Macey are expecting their second daughter (due date March 10th); Ed Smith has met the testing requirements for cochlear implants in both ears and will be meeting with his surgeon on October 19th to determine when & which ear will receive the first implant; and we have a Heavenly Father that loves us, a Savior that redeems us, and the Holy Spirit that strengthens us.

CONCERNS: Pam Dunson is scheduled for cataract replacement surgeries tomorrow (September 14th) & two weeks later for the other eye while working with her medical team to control her high blood pressure that may be related to her mass cell activation; Tim Heiserman’s revision hip replacement has been rescheduled for October 16th; Shelby Lopez’s neighbor Craig Freditz (719 Nickie Lane, Fostoria, OH 44830) has suffered a stroke (age 39) and a heart attack and is currently receiving home therapy as there are currently no openings at rehabilitation (please note that he is currently unable to walk); and Mary Sauder has been admitted to Tiffin Mercy Hospital to undergo monitoring of the heart..
