JOYS: Judy Prosser is “doing well” and is enjoying time with friends and family; Hadassah (Haddie) Spangler (Chad Spangler’s niece) has been released from the hospital after being admitted for a concussion, fractured skull, and ruptured eardrum; so many from the church participating in the Bascom Firefighters Festival; and we have a Heavenly Father that loves us, a Savior that redeems us, and the Holy Spirit that strengthens us.
CONCERNS: Randall Shaver (Jeanne VanBuskirk’s son) begins 5 days/week of radiation treatments and 1 weekly round of chemotherapy this week; the family of Carol Fruth who passed away Thursday, July 9th; Tim Heiserman will be meeting with his medical team in New Albany, Ohio this coming Friday (July 17th) about a possible second (revision) hip replacement; Dotty Devault continues to experience swelling in her leg as well as gastrointestinal issues; travel mercies for Cheryl (Edinger) McDaniel, Carol Reisner, and the rest of the family as they travel to, and return from, Alabama for Rev. Bill McDaniel’s funeral which is being held tomorrow (Monday. July 13th); the families of Police Sgt. Scott Ries, the other four officers wounded, wounded K9 dog Vick, the suspected shooter, and two victims from the shooting last Sunday (June 5th) in Rittman, Ohio; those affected by this weekends mass shootings; and the family of Vicki Turco who passed away Saturday, July 4th after a short battle with cancer.
